Gamco and Amigos Team up for 14th Time
The first Amigos Mexican Restaurant opened on June 17, 1980 in Lincoln, NE. In 2003 the decision was made to co-brand the restaurants with their own "american food" concept called Kings Classics. The Amigos/Kings Classic chain now includes 29 locations, all in the state of Nebraska.
As Amigos/Kings Classic chain grew, so did their marketing efforts. Radio and television ads were created in 1981 and 1983, respectively.
In 1996 Amigos launched their first promotional game - Amigos Play to Win, produced by International Gamco. The objective - increase sales and stimulate repeate business. The promotion was very succesful. Since then Gamco has produced fourteen promotional games for Amigos.
From their very first game, Amigos have consistently gotten an 8% to 10% return on their promotional game coupon offers. Most importantly, the promotional games have increase Amigos traffic flow, causing customers to eat at Amigos 2-3 per week or more.
Gamco's seasoned sales and production staff have worked diligently with Amigos to develop and produce fourteen promotional games since 1996.
